Group Familija is coming to BitefArtCafe!

Get ready for a nostalgic ride through the most energetic moments of the local rock scene —  Familija is hitting the stage at BitefArtCafe on May 24th!

Four members of the original lineup will take the stage:
Dejan Petrović – Dexy, Dejan Pejović – Peja, Aleksandar Lukić – Luka, and Ratko Ljubičić – Raša.

Formed in the mid-1990s, Familija is one of the most unique names in Serbia’s ska rock scene. Their debut album Narodno pozorište, released in February 1994 by PGP RTS, immediately drew attention with its genre-blending sound and witty lyrics. It featured unforgettable hits like Baltazar, Mala mala, Što ja volim taj seks, and Nije mi ništa.

Their second album Seljačka buna, produced by Đorđe Petrović, was released in 1997 and included songs that left a deep mark on the Serbian music scene — Brate Murate, Paranoja, and Boli me kita.

In 2011, the track Što ja volim taj seks was selected among the 60 best songs ever played on Radio Belgrade. Three years ago, their debut Narodno pozorište was ranked among the top 100 Serbian rock albums released after the breakup of Yugoslavia, according to the book Kako (ni)je propao rokenrol u Srbiji (How Rock ‘n’ Roll (Didn’t) Fail in Serbia).

Unfortunately, in 1999 the band disbanded due to a lack of financial resources for new projects.

• One ticket valid for 4 people

• Reservation of a small booth with two standing and two seated spots

MEDIUM BOOTH PACKAGE (6 people)

• One ticket valid for 6 people

• Reservation of a medium booth with four seated and two standing spots

• If your group has more than 6 people (up to a max of 8), additional standing tickets can be purchased.

LARGE BOOTH PACKAGE (8 people)

• One ticket valid for 8 people

• Reservation of a large booth with six seated and two standing spots
