ANA POPOVIĆ, the guardian of contemporary blues, is returning to Belgrade, where she will perform on June 5th at the BitefArtCafe Club!

A guitar virtuoso blending fiery electric funk and slide guitar, jazzy instrumental segments, and solid blues rhythms with an emotional, feminine vocal. When you add her incredible stage presence to the mix, it’s clear why she’s an unstoppable force in the world of modern blues. Her sound is constantly evolving — pushing boundaries, merging genres, and reinventing both her musical expression and herself with each new album.

It’s no surprise that she has earned numerous awards and recognition from the highest circles of the music industry. Over the past 25 years, Ana has demonstrated unwavering dedication to music through relentless touring, accolades, and acclaim. She has grown into one of the most dynamic and self-aware songwriters and guitarists of our time.

Her latest studio album, Power, released on May 5, 2023, by ArtisteXclusive Records, brings exactly that dynamic — a powerful and personal story of survival through faith, determination, and perseverance. The songs were written under challenging circumstances that tested Ana’s devotion to music and her will to push through tough times.

She has graced the covers of Vintage Guitar and Guitar Player magazines. Her albums Can You Stand The Heat (2013) and Unconditional (2011) were named “Pick of the Week” by USA Today, and were also featured on NPR Music. In 2023, her album POWER reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Blues Chart — the top-selling blues albums in the U.S.
