Who is Mike Gunn?
Mike Gunn is a British stand-up comedian, presenter, actor, writer and voiceover artist. He is also known for his appearance on The Michael McIntyre Show and his appearance in Al Murray’s Time Gentlemen.
Mike’s drinking and drug problems led him to an unusual life and very challenging situations. However, after successfully overcoming his heroin addiction in the 1980s, Gunn is completely clean – except when he uses the drug as material for his stunts. He started doing stand-up comedy right in the rehabilitation period, and today he is at the very top of the British list of top comedians. He is a father of two children and also works as a mentor for young comedy hopefuls. He performs as a headliner all over the world.
Although his humor may sound dark and bitter at first listen, Gunn has an incredible love and understanding for the various states of the human spirit – having gone through some very complex life experiences himself.
“One of Britain’s top 10 stand-up acts” Independent on Sunday
“Mike Gunn will make you die of laughter” The Guardian
Who is Mike Sheer?
Mike Sheer is a Canadian comedian from Toronto who currently lives and works in London. He has more than ten years of international experience, during which he performed all over the world, from Europe to Australia. As well as opening for big name comedians, he performs in theatres, clubs and pubs and has had solo shows at festivals such as Edinburgh Fringe, Adelaide Fringe and Melbourne Comedy Festival.
With an engaging and affable yet intelligent stage presence, his focus on the moment means he blurs the line between socializing and acting. Sheer is happy when he can indulge in the sudden inspiration that the audience evokes on the spot. His humor jumps from light to dark, from smart to stupid, from low to high, which keeps the audience on their toes until the very end.
